Dry Needling Part 1 – Different Types of Dry Needling

Firstly – what is dry needling? The simple definition is that it is any time you get needles stuck into you with nothing injected.

One of the most common types of dry needling is acupuncture. It has been practised for thousands of years, and comes with a rich and layered history.

More recently, practitioners are starting to use dry needling on trigger points. Interestingly, many acupuncture points correspond to myofascial trigger points.
